    2. An issue is whether we should cut one location and replace it with a webcast; a possible solution is to rotate locations each year so no one location loses attendance
    3. Another issue is that in the last few years, CalCAP has had little or no involvement in the seminar; is there a way to get CalCPA back involved; can we re-build our relationship with CalCPA; does anyone have connections?

    1. Webinars are a great way to raise revenue for the section because there is minimal cost to the Taxation Section.
    2. Every committee is tasked with submitting a webinar; a goal is to get each Standing Committee to commit to a particular month

Bar business news – we are having difficulty obtaining timely submissions from the subcommittee chairs for the CTL Bar Business.  A solution is to track deadlines on procedural manual; start with email reminders one month ahead with reminders; then weekly email reminders.  Discuss issue with Section Chairs at afternoon session.

    1. Standing Committees are given the opportunity to meet at the annual meeting; this is a very good opportunity for the members to meet and mingle
    2. There will be time available at the Tax Annual Meeting for subcommittees to meet – Lunch on Friday, November 7, from 12:30 to 1:15 pm. Boxed lunches will be available (pre-purchased through conference registration) for $40.00.
    3. People coming to attend the subcommittee meetings do not need to register for the conference
    4. If individuals would like to purchase a box lunch, they will need to purchase that through the conference registration website ahead of time, but they are not required to purchase lunch to attend the subcommittee meeting

    3. It is very important that the Standing Committees distribute to their members the information about the Sacramento Delegation so that we have paper topics
